Senior Drill and Blast Engineer - Open Cut - FIFO in ADELAIDE, South Australia

A leading base metals mining company needs an experienced Senior Drill and Blast Engineer to join their open pit operations. You will be joining an experienced production team, working a 9 days on, 5 days off roster on a fly in, fly out Adelaide basis. You will be reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, with your daily duties including: Manage daily drill and blast activities Develop blast designs Assist and advice on drill and blast techniques Assist with drill and blast scheduling Help prepare budgets for the drill and blast department You will be required to have completed tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, accompanied with six years experience working in a drill and blast role with an open cut operation. Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $125k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
