Central Adelaide Local Health Network Salary AHP- $30.68 - $37.65 per hour 25% casual loading AHP-2 $39.74 - $46.02 per hour 25% casual loading Casual Joining the Allied Health Casual Pool for the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you will provide high quality care in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy to patients. Undertaking assessments of patients, you will make interpretations of assessment findings, and formulate and implement intervention plans in collaboration with patients, carers and other relevant clinicians. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, attending and actively participating in team clinical activities such as ward rounds and meetings. As part of your role, you will also participate in departmental educational, quality improvement and planning activities resulting in improved clinical outcomes for patients and clients of CALHN. If appointed at the AHP2 level, you may be required to provide professional and clinical supervision to level allied health professionals, allied health assistants and undergraduate students. You will need to hold a degree or equivalent qualification in an Allied Health profession, such as Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, which entitles membership of the relevant discipline professional organisation. Demonstrating broad experience in the assessment and management of adult clients with a disability or acute illness in a health care setting, you will be capable of implementing patient centred and evidence based practice in routine clinical presentations. If appointed at the AHP2 level, you will be experienced in managing complex clinical situations with reduced professional supervision. Your sound interpersonal and communication skills will equip you to interact effectively with patients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
