My client is a well-established Workplace Rehabilitation Provider continually expanding its operations in workplace health management. They are at the forefront of return to work management with a desire to redefine and pioneer new ways of empowering individuals.
They are now looking for a Rehab Consultant (quals in Rehab Counselling,Psychology, OT or PT)with previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation to join their experienced team of Health Professionals. This exciting role suits someone who has a strong interested in further diversifying his/her skills.
Variety of services:
Management of workplace injuries: resolve complex cases
On-site work hardening, providing a graduate rtw program
Focus on early intervention
Ergonomic, job and risk assessments
Functional capacity assessments using BTE-ER equipment
Manual handling training and back care
Consultation with specialists
Closely work with employers and provide training & workshops to prevent injuries
What you need to have to be successful in this role:
Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health
Previous experience within the WorkersComp arena
Outstanding rapport building and communication skills
Pro-active approach and ability to think outside the square
Strong interest in team work and ongoing professional development
